Hi!

Obviously not all of my friends can read my blog - they aren't very computer saavy! But, all of my friends take the most amazing photos - they are very photogenic and some may even say 'HAMS' in front of the camera!!!

Lately I've been entertaining a lot, since my family returned from Africa. They brought back all sorts of treats and we had an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party - to be honest, I couldn't tell the difference between a regular sweater and an ugly sweater, but some of them had bells, lights and fluffy things that were fun to chase after! I even had a sweater - and a name tag! It was such a fun night and the best part was the next day, I was able to lounge around the house... mommy + daddy were very tired and daddy stayed on the couch too!! It was perfect!! It was a busy week- daddy's birthday on Thursday, and our party on Friday... I helped to make breakfast for Daddy's birthday and then we had a mini celebration. He turned 34!!

It's ALMOST my birthday!!

I am just 1 week away from OFFICIALLY being 1, can you believe it??

My mom turned 30 a few weeks ago and she had a countdown (30 days till 30) and I think both mommy & daddy really enjoyed the 30 days of fun...

I even learned to count... backwards! (Mommy would tell me, "today it is 24 days till thirty... today it is 23 days till thirty..." ) I hope one day I get to turn thirty also - people come over ALL the time and bring you surprises! So far, on my countdown to being ONE, I have also been the proud receipient of fun gifts. Lots of fluffy toys that squeak... and my friend Paxil (he lives in Florida) gave me a pair of Jimmy CHews!!

Mommy and I have the same ones!! I don't know if her Jimmy Chews make noise, but I am not allowed to eat them, so I guess I won't ever find out. Hmmm....

my 1st birthday!

Hi!! Even though it isn't my official birthday until November 27 (yes... I'm a thanksgiving puppy!) my mom & dad wanted to celebrate my birthday early - since my dad left for South Africa yesterday. He says I would REALLY like it there and there are plenty of things to chase, and lots of sand to dig, and there is the thing called an 'oh-shun' that has lots of fish, funny crabs, and waves!! I like to jump in the pool, so the oh-shun sounds like it would be fun. Maybe one day I will get to see it!!

We celebrated Thanksgiving early with friends and family, and I had lots of turkey, and so did my brother Floyd. He really likes turkey... and potatoes.

The best part of the night was a big surprise - when I got my very own birthday cake!!

We had a wonderful night, and look at the beautiful sunset for daddy's last night in Scottsdale!

Its my naptime, so I'm off to the couch.
